Elate Release Notes - January 2025
New features
- Users can now sort the Support Recipient List in the Active, Inactive, and Prospect tabs using a Sort Icon next to Name (sorting alphabetically A-Z by default, then Z-A) and Risk Level (sorting High-Medium-Low, then Low-Medium-High), making it easier to find and manage records efficiently.
- Users can now sort the Team List in the Active and Inactive tabs using a Sort Icon next to Name (sorting alphabetically A-Z by default, then Z-A) and Start Date (sorting from most recent to oldest, then oldest to most recent), making it easier to find and organise team members efficiently.
- Inactive team members are now hidden from the Schedule Calendar, Support Activity creation, Schedule Filter List, Support Activity Edit, Unavailability Create/Edit, and Overtime Create/Edit, ensuring only active users appear in assignments and scheduling.
- Support recipients can now be set to Active (default), Inactive, or Prospect, automatically moving them to the respective tab on the Clients List Page.
- Inactive and Prospective support recipients are now hidden from the Schedule Calendar, Support Activity creation, Schedule Filter (Support Recipient View), Support Activity Edit (Schedule), and Overtime Create/Edit. Additionally, any upcoming events or support activities linked to an Inactive or Prospect support recipient will no longer be visible.
- Users with the appropriate permissions can now duplicate a support plan via the Actions menu. The duplicated plan will be named "Copy of [Original Support Plan Name]" and will retain all support types, tasks, notes, review dates, and priority levels but will not include any scheduled support activities. Upon duplication, users will be directed to the new copy, where they can make changes as needed.
- Users can now click on a Support Recipient’s avatar or a Team Member’s name in the Event Details panel to quickly navigate to their profile page. This feature is available for Administrators only and does not affect the "Get Directions" link.
Bug Fixes
- Carer assignments on support activities/events will no longer be reverted when updating a care plan. Previously, changes to carer assignments were undone after a support plan update, regardless of whether the assignment was made via drag-and-drop or the edit button. This fix ensures that updating a support plan does not change, reverse, delete, or duplicate any existing carer assignments or past support activities.
- The Risk Assessment process has been improved to ensure users can navigate through all pages without being redirected.
- The Role column on the Team Member List page now displays each user's job role instead of their permission level, ensuring clearer identification of team responsibilities.
- The account menu now automatically closes when clicking anywhere outside of it, improving user experience.
- Administrators can now edit and delete Key Contacts from a support recipient’s profile.
