- Support Recipient: The individuals receiving care and support from your organisation.
- Team: Staff members within your organisation who provide care or manage operations.
- Prospects: A list of potential clients who may receive care services from your organisation.
- Notifications: Alerts related to incidents, safeguarding issues, or other important updates raised within the platform.
- Profile: Detailed information about a support recipient or team member, including personal details, assessments, and assigned activities.
- User(s): Any individual or entity authorised by the Client to access and use Elate, including employees, contractors, agents, or third parties acting on behalf of the Client.
- Admin: A user with elevated permissions, allowing them to manage the organisation’s account, settings, and team members.
- Groups: Departments or teams within an organisation used to categorise and organise staff members.
- Schedule: The calendar displays all planned support activities, allowing users to view and manage care schedules.
- Support Activities: Planned events where carers or enablers provide care to support recipients (e.g., home visits, medical check-ups, or daily assistance).
- Support Plan: A structured plan outlining support activities and associated tasks, guiding carers on what needs to be done during their visits.
- Assessment: Comprehensive documentation of a support recipient’s needs, preferences, and care requirements.
- Data Protection Legislation: refers to all applicable UK laws on data protection and privacy, including:

- Data Protection Act 2018
- Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (as amended)
